Kashmir Premier League 2022

Kashmir Premier League (KPL) is a Twenty20 professional cricket league founded in 2021. The league consists of six teams: five teams representing the cities of the Azad Kashmir region in Pakistan and one team representing the people of Kashmir in abroad. Teams play in a double round-robin format with the top four teams qualifying for the playoffs and ultimately the championship game called the KPL 2022 Cup Final. The Second edition of the league itself is scheduled to begin on August 6 until August 16, 2022. The official anthem song of the Kashmir Premier League (KPL) was released on February 16, 2021, on YouTube. It was directed by Shaan Shahid and sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Many Pakistani film celebrities, such as Juggun Kazim, Mehwish Hayat, Iman Ali, Ali Gul Pir, Neelam Muneer, and Ayesha Omar, are brand ambassadors for the KPL 2022. KPL has partnered with the Shahid Afridi Foundation as a charity organization.
