The pacers will be able to swing the ball as well in the first overs of the game since this track will have more bounce than the one we witnessed in the previous match at the Kennington Oval. The hitters will benefit from the outfield’s speed and the relatively short barrier on one side.
When England and Pakistan last played here in an ODI, England managed to score 247 runs while Pakistan was bowled out for 195 runs. Both teams’ pace bowlers did an excellent job, and Pakistan’s Hasan Ali claimed a wicket. At this stadium, the first inning average is 242 runs.
