Most runs in CPL 2023: The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2023 started on August 17 and will end on September 25 (Indian Standard Time).

There are six teams playing in CPL 2023. They will play a total of 34 T20 matches in 40 days.

The teams are Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, Saint Lucia Kings, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, and Trinbago Knight Riders. They are all competing to win the CPL 2023 championship.

Some really good T20 players are in this league like Brandon King, Faf du Plessis, Nicholas Pooran, Rovman Powell, Martin Guptill, Andre Russell, and Kieron Pollard.

The first match saw Jamaica Tallawahs’ captain, Brandon King, making 81 runs off 53 balls, helping his team score 187 in 20 overs. He hit nine fours and three sixes. This helped Jamaica Tallawahs win by 11 runs.

Brandon King was also the top scorer in the last CPL season, making 422 runs in 13 matches for Jamaica Tallawahs. He did really well with an average of 38.36 and a fast strike rate of 135.25. Kyle Mayers from Barbados Royals was the second-highest run-scorer this season with 366 runs in 12 matches.
