Pakistan vs Australia series is set to begin after 24 years the rumor has created an issue in the series, resulting in Australia team is in panic. Australia team is in a panic however PCB solves the issue.
Last occasion Team Australia toured Pakistan was in 1998 for a 3-Test series, supervised by Mark Taylor, which the Kangaroo team took 1-1.
This time, we are back with the Kangaroo team is set to embark on the Pakistan trip.
In Pakistan the Australian team must play three matches that include Tests, ODIs as well as the one T20 match.
Australian media spread rumours! Pakistan vs Australia series
A report is being circulated through the Australian media, that the three Test games will be played on the same field.
After the rumor was first reported, it was disproved by Pakistan Cricket Board itself. On Tuesday the Pakistan Cricket Board issued a statement that read,
“It isn’t feasible to schedule all of the international matches for 19 days in one location.
Australia’s cricket team will be playing test matches at Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
At these venues, the PCB is attempting to create a safe environment for all players.
Todd Greenberg, the CEO of the Australian Cricketers Association, stated earlier this month that several players will be unavailable for the series. We respect his decision if he does not want to play.
Pakistan vs Australia Test Series Venues
Importantly, the first Test game will be played on the 3rd of March in Karachi’s National Stadium in Karachi.
This second test match is scheduled to begin between 12 and 16 March in Rawalpindi
Third and final Test match of the series will begin on the 21st of March, at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Following the test series three ODIs as well as one T20 match are scheduled.
