PSL 2022 Schedule: All Details About the Timings, Venues & Teams

PCB announces schedule for PSL 2022: The Pakistan Super League will return to Pakistan in next month. The tournament will run for 32 days and the final is scheduled for February 27. It will begin on January 27 with Multan Sultans vs Karachi Kings. On the same day, Quetta Gladiators will take on Peshawar Zalmi. The tournament will feature 34 games over the course of the 32-day competition.

According to the Pakistan PSL 2022 Schedule, the tournament is scheduled to start on January 27 and the first match of the tournament will be played between defending champions Multan Sultans and former champions Karachi Kings. The match will be played at the National Stadium Karachi which is one of the two venues of PSL 7.

PSL 2022 Pakistan Super League

The tournament will start in Karachi on January 27 and conclude on February 27. They will play the matches in a double-round format. The top four teams will qualify for the playoff stage.

PSL 2022 Venues and Timings

According to the schedule of Pakistan Super League, this time PSL will be played at two places in Pakistan. In the group stage, the first stage of the 15-match tournament will be played at National Stadium Karachi while the second stage will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore in which a total of 19 matches will be played including the playoffs and PSL 2022 final.

Last year’s tournament was partly played in Pakistan as the second phase of the tournament was shifted to the United Arab Emirates due to epidemic diseases. This time the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to hold the entire PSL 7 in Pakistan.

The PSL 2022 day matches will begin at 2 p.m., while the night matches will begin at 7 p.m. On Friday, both matches will begin one hour later, at 3 p.m. for day matches and 8 p.m. for night matches.

PSL Teams 2022

The seventh edition of Pakistan Super League promises to be the biggest ever as six teams from PSL 7 compete for the PSL title. Six teams finalized their PSL 2022 squads as they added quality to their already star-studded lineup. The teams of six franchises of PSL 7 include a total of 18 players including foreign players, Pakistani national stars and youth. Emerging talent from across the country.

The PSL 7 teams finalized their squads according to the draft. The players of PSL 7 teams are divided into six categories, Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, Emerging and Supplementary. Prior to the draft PSL 2022, each team was allowed to retain a maximum of 8 players in the PSL team.
