Sri Lanka Playing XI vs IND Asia Cup Final: After a thrilling win against Pakistan, a confident Sri Lanka will take on India in the Asia Cup final on Sunday. The home team will be forced to make a change to their playing eleven for the IND vs SL final as Maheesh Theekshana has been ruled out after suffering a hamstring injury. Outside player Sahan Arachchige has been added to the squad, but he is unlikely to play.

The management could be tempted to include player Dushan Hemantha in the XI against India. Apart from being a good wrist spinner, Dushan will also add depth to Sri Lanka’s batting line-up.

Although Pramod Madushan ran in the last match, he is likely to retain his place for the IND vs SL Asia Cup final.

While Sri Lanka’s batting has been one of the biggest positives, captain Dasun Shanaka’s form has been a concern for the team.

Shanaka has played six matches in the tournament so far and managed to score a total of 54 runs. However, he led the Sri Lankan team well and was instrumental with the ball in the team’s victory against Bangladesh.

Before the Asia Cup 2023 final, Shanaka thanked the selectors for backing him.
