Indian Cricket Board BCCI provides an official update on Team India new jersey for T20 World Cup 2022 The Indian cricket team would be sporting a brand-new jersey for their mpl sports campaign at the T20 World Cup 2022, the BCCI informed on Friday.
It was announced that the Indian cricket team is sporting a brand new jersey during their participation in the T20 World Cup. The navy blue and navy blue patterns that is worn by the team since the beginning of their Australia series last year and will be replaced for a new piece of kit with a launch date that date has been set as October 13 next Wednesday according to the BCCI announced on Friday.

The jersey will be officially launched on October 13th by MPL Sports, the official kit sponsor for India’s Indian cricket team. “The moment we’ve all been waiting for! Join us for the big reveal on 13th October only on @mpl_sport. Are you excited?,” the BCCI tweeted.
The fans would like to see that they will see a return to their traditional blue colour that is now the symbol of Indian cricket. It is a dark-blue jersey the players wear since the end of December 2021 is a resemblance to the Indian 1993 World Cup jersey. While the initial idea was to use the design just in this T20 game against Australia but the Indian team continued to wear it until the series at home against England.
On the 13th of October, the 2nd IPL qualifier will take place between the winner at Qualifier 1 as well as the winner in Sharjah.

Team India wore the retro jersey for the first time in Australia during the white-ball series Down Under and received a thumbs up from a number of fans over their new attire.
A lot of cricket fans, who grew up in the 90s, got nostalgic after seeing India play in the jersey, which brought back memories of the 1992 World Cup.
