India, however, needs to win the series 2-0 to keep their hopes of retaining their first place. If Australia beat the Ashes by a 4-1 margin, they would become the new No. 1 team in the ICC rankings.
Meanwhile, the West Indies, led by Craig Brathwaite, made changes to their roster. They chose Kevin Sinclair over Raymond Reifer, who was disappointed in the first test.
